A. Overview
The
face mask inflaming retarding tester is used to test the flame retardance of
medical masks. The tester uses propane as the combustion source. Face mask
sample is placed on a metal-made human head. The height and rotation speed of
the head model is adjustable. Flame temperature up to 800℃.
B. Applicable Standards:
GB/T19083-2010:
Technical requirements for protective face mask for medical use
YY0469-2011:
Surgical mask
GB
2626-2019: Respiratory protection—Non-powered air-purifying particle respirator
C. Features:
1. The
mask fixture is a human head model, which can fully simulate the actual
condition of usage.
2. The
combustor is equipped with a combustible gas interface such as propane
(liquefied gas).
3. The
height of the combustor is adjustable.
4. The
combustor performs positioning and timing automatically.
5. The
burning time and inflaming retardant time are automatically recorded and
displayed digitally.
6. Equipped
with flame temperature measuring probe and temperature gauge.
D. Technical Parameters
1. The
linear velocity of the head model nose tip is (60±5)mm/s
2. Flame
height can be adjusted (default: 40±4mm)
3. The
diameter of the flame temperature measuring probe is 1.5mm
4. The
flame temperature is (800±50) ℃ at a
height of (20±2) mm from the top of the combustor
5. The
distance between the top of the combustor and bottom of the mask is (20±2) mm
6. The
combustor height adjustment range is 30mm
7. The
thickness of the head model is 2~3mm, which is resistant to flame and
combustion
